"Why does this file have to be .rar.exe and not just .RAR ? I wonder"

Below the download button you will see a checkbox to use their downloader. Make sure this is OFF. It is checked ON by default. If you click download while this checkbox is selected, then you are downloading and installing their 'downloader' .exe program file and not the LTP18 rar file.

This is working perfectly.

As OP says, login to the program using the details he provides.

When you search for keywords, you will be prompted to login to your Google account if you are not already logged in. Use YOUR Google account email and password so that the program can access the Google Keyword Planner tool API..

Update: After restarting LTP works IN TRIAL!

Update 2: Just found out - if this happens close LTP and restart again: you should get licence fields. Put licence (I and M) and it works fine in normal mode again.

P.S.: I use Win XP

The link provided by OP is a .rar file not a .rar.exe file. I scanned EVERY file separately with 0 detection on Virustotal. (I read scanning a .rar file could allow a virus to go undetected in Virustotal.)

It works just fine but it is not the platium verions. At least not for me because in the top right corner it says upgrade to platinum

Mine is Platinum. But I can't find proxy field - does LTP allow to use proxies?
