why harvest email?

Say you sell ebooks on how to grow marijuana, you can harvest the emails from certain cities where people are posting ads for "medical" marijuana and then add them to your list. Sure you aren't supposed to technically add someone unless they opt-in, but you can always put a "you are receiving this because you showed interest in mmj" disclaimer at the bottom of your emails. That's what I'm going to do :)
