Hi Everyone,

The usual route to installing on Wordpress on your computer would be to use Wampserver, or similar variants (I used xamplite a while back). Recently I found a NOOB friendly way to accomplish this and you don't need WAMP to get it done.

To cut it short .. get this tool. It's FREE.

Check out bitnami, too. You can install wordpress locally and a whole bunch of other open source software stacks. Very cool stuff.

The author also has a guide out to rapidly installing developing and migrating your WP website fast, safe and secure. If only someone here could share it.
