I know English is not your first language so I'm going to give you a tip. The way you phrased your post implies a demand, rather than a request.
Next time say "Can you please update your share?" leave off the "and keep it up to date". That last part conveys the demand.
Or, "Please update your share if a new version is released. Those of who can't purchase it would appreciate it."
