Tip: Do not use the hide tag, instead use the spoiler tag. Just replace hide with spoiler between the brackets.

You can still use the hide tag, just make sure you add a space after your link. This will push the hide tag over and you won't get the problem you see all over this forum. The hide tag appended to the url.

You can also use the "code" option inside of your hide tag to make your links error free. Like this:
