Hey thanks for sharing this tip. I’ve been trying to download ge.tt files from my iphone and it’s not working. Safari, Safari/Private, Chrome, Chrome/Incognitoa and Opera Mini not working. Any suggestions? Thank you!

@Milo76: To answer your question, yes ... and no. Unless you can find a hardbound (or paperback) copy of this classic --- it sells on Amazon for hundreds! --- then, a scanned PDF is about as good as it gets.

I searched Google and found a "very good" PDF at archive.org. that you can download (I post those links and a few alternate ones for you below).

This is a 267-page e-book that bears a few "scan" marks but otherwise, the PDF is high-quality and high contrast. The text is crisp, sharp black on a bright, white background ... so you don't get the typical gray "shading" you sometimes see in a a poorly scanned document.

For example, these are Cossman's foreword pages...

You may find an occasional page like this one, with some gray streaking that is unavoidable, especially in high-speed scanning...

But I've gone through the entire document and can tell you, there aren't many like that as compared to the pages that are crystal clear and easy to read.

Unless you're trying to re-create a document to sell, a little occasional "flecking" isn't going to get in your way. I agree, it's distracting but I found this copy to be pretty good; especially the formatting. Otherwise, I wouldn't have shared it.

So, hopefully, this helps.
