Has anyone used both of these scripts and can shed some light on which one is more solid and offers more?

Agriya Buy Sell or any other Agriya's scripts are difficult to setup, most probably you might face server / technical / config / version compatibility issues with Agriya scripts, so I personally don't like agriya, although they are good conceptualized but execution is not good, design is also not much impressive.

Getsy is much better than buysell, I also tried buysell, but Getsy wins the race.

WHICH EVER ONE WORKS!! (smile) So far I have yet to see an actual fully working version here on the BBHF all of the ones listed on this site are crap and missing code.

But difinitely as far a paid working copies go. Pound for pound, Getsy is a better made script on the paid market. Agriya is known for making poorly coded products and using encryption on their cheaply made products.

Thanks. I've been working with Getsy and while the coding seems well formatted the script itself is not ready for primetime, ESPECIALLY for $7k.

The script is kind of like a Hollywood movie set. Looks good from the front but not fully functional behind the scenes. I won't even look at Agriya then

i prefer Agriya BuySell, i think it have a clean and more organized layout to show the products.
And the control panel is not so hard to setup

Same issues happen on official Getsy Demo when setting up a shop. If you've got a demo setup somewhere I'd love to try it. I was really interested in using Getsy for a project. I didn't want getting Getsy to function to be the project
