WHMCS v5.2.14 R2 RENULLED
Hello!I have decrypted an additional half dozen or dozen files. You can find where I have replaced the original files OR added them in parallel by looking at the file names. :) I also cleaned branding and further white-labelled the script.
With things slowing down towards the end of the year, I suspect there will be a 'hive' of activity in the NY. So more updates to WHMCS 5.3.x Beta, and hopefully more modules and extensions to further improve and build upon WHMCS! :D
I included both original and source files for those I decrypted. If you wish to switch to encrypted original file you can, or switch to open source to make modifications. You may also edit a css file inside /admin/images/ and remove the background image.
After installation, I recommend the following steps:
- Rename Admin by adding a custom admin path variable to /configuration.php
- Relocate the sensitive directories (/downloads/ + /attachments/ + /templates_c/) to the /home/UserName/*** path (not inside /public_html/ for security!).
- Rename administrator user name "admin" to "ExampleAdmin" (something longer!) or use your Email Address (once you setup the Admin Profile).
- Add an HTACCESS authentication to the /admin/ directory. Use a complex user name and write the password down in a safe place!
- Edit the English.php language file AND all TPL files and change the phrases of words used. E.g. Change "Knowledgebase" to its correct spelling: "Knowledge Base", then rename the portal and other pages to prevent WHMCS finding your website via Google.
Once complete make a backup of WHMCS Directories and WHMCS Database. Now just remember to do a daily/weekly backup of Database and Templates / Customised Files! :D I recommend you use SMARTBACKUP v1.09/v1.10; I posted v1.10 in the CodeCanyon/ThemeForest area here: http://bestblackhatforum.com/Thread-CODE...martbackup
