Yes. It most definitely is.
If you are careful about keeping your solo-ad master list clean and healthy, you can sell solo ads for $60 to $80 per 100 clicks.
Example:
The business is like any other. If you give quality (and charge accordingly), you tend to rise in value vs everybody else.
I've got a buddy/IM partner in Portland who's been following the same basic model promoted by Kate Rosenberg in this share. He's got a master list of ~9500, but makes sure his list is up-to-date and pretty clear from junk names. He averages about 75 cents/click and clears $350/day consistently spending about an hour a day.
He could probably outsource most of that - but he refuses because he has trust issues. (I heartily agree with that. Control is what makes the world go round.)
He started with just $300 for solo ads in early 2013 and got to profitability within 3 weeks. (If you are curious about the plan he used, PM me and I'll send you the plan.)
Now he spends just $300/month in advertising costs to maintain the size of his list at the quality he's keeping. Just one days pay.
He offers no training programs. Doesn't need to.
7K - 9K month without having to change what you sell month to month orwrite anything brilliant - just provide a service in high demand (targeted traffic of a certain quality) and collect cash every day. Better than being a drug dealer because it is legal.
I sometimes envy him the simplicity of his model.
I do great when a I get a big payday (a launch of some type) or a workshop where I can make $50K in a day or so.... Regardless of whatever GURU one listens to - it takes a lot of effort to be creative for long periods of time. To keep your brand viable.
This business model does take attention, but you don't have to be a genius. So think about this alternative. You could be completely self employed as a solo ad provider in a couple months...
Have a great week and a wonderful new year.
