UPDATE: Yesterday EdwinSoft released an updated version of BMD 5.5.6.0 and this method stopped working. You can’t use HTTP POST API with DeathByCaptcha anymore but you can still use normal API.
Also, everyone who used cracked version of BMD 5.5.5.0 is screwed now. It won’t work anymore.
UPDATE: You need to go to
and opt in to use DeCapcher API. It won’t work if you don’t. I kinda missed it happened last week but on the 11th of May DeathByCaptcha created DeCaptcher compatibility API. Don’t get me wrong, I love DeCaptcher but I use Bookmarking Demon a lot. DeCaptcher allows software vendors to charge any amount of money on top of their $2 per 1000 CAPTCHAs solved. BMD adds another $2 per 1000 on top of DeCaptcher fees which makes it ridiculously expensive to blast with CATPCHA enabled. Holy crap. Four bucks per thousand CAPTCHAs.
DeathByCaptcha costs only $1.4 per thousand and now they support both normal and HTTP POST APIs of DeCaptcher. All you need to do is sign up for DeathByCaptcha and opt in for DeCaptcher API. Then you simply use api.deathbycaptcha.com/decaptcher as a DeCapcher server in BMD and voila, you are only paying a bucks and a half.
- Download Code:
http://edwinsoft.net/downloads/bmd/decaptcher_dll.zip
- In Bookmarking Demon settings uncheck “use HTTP POSTâ€
- Enter server address api.deathbycaptcha.com
- Enter port 8223
- Test by clicking “Check Balanceâ€
