The $29 coupon is from my website where visitors to the site can get this price at any time.
The $19 is a one off for this forum with only 25 coupons and ending at the end of the month. I am new to the Forum and thought that a better offer directly here was appropriate.
Thanks of commenting Rep+
Before anyone ask, he is NOT going to offer free review codes or anything, best to take his $19 offer before its gone or us his blog code.
He has tons of really good reviews and his course looks pretty good!
With that said he is here only to make money nothing more. Since I don't have money I am going to pass. Thanks for the offer!
Good luck to you all!
Wish we could get access to a super
BBHF discount on this...
Super BBHF discount in polite mischievous blackhat vocabulary means price is either zero, one, three or max 5 bucks. Maybe not a win-win situation but who knows what can turn out. Thanks for presenting the offer here, sir.
Oh I know LOL and I agree, but my point was that the Course Author jbdcolley best BBHF Super offer is $19. Not something I think should have been posted in Freebies and I was being sarcastic since people "abuse this all the time" and his course seems pretty good so maybe we should be grateful for $19?
But I know BBHF and no one is grateful for discounts in Freebies
Again, he is just a outsider cashing on BBHF....nothing more. Buy or not, move along...

Hi Guys, thanks for the comments :)
Questions from my side.
Am I posting in the wrong part of the forum - is there another Udemy section?
What are the pricing points here. If I offered a $5 coupon (which is a give away for this course given the hours of work it has taken) what is the likely up take? I am trying to understand the price demand elasiticity?
Just to explain my pricing - which has to be consistent as far as I can make it. I offer free coupons when I launch courses but only to people/communities/forums that I know and - as far as I can - trust. I have actually given away far more courses than I have been paid for but yes, it has to be about the money to a certain extent otherwise what is the point?
If this is purely a forum for free course offers, then I have two free courses which you are very welcome to subscribe to - just check out my courses on udemy at www.udemy.com/u/johncolley.
One course is on 12 key principles of copywriting and the other - is my Online Learning Podcast where I post my interviews with other Udemy instructors - perhaps of less interest here.
I am always happy to have a free and frank conversation :) Best regards John
@jbdcolley, good seeing you engaging in open discussion with members. There are a lot of great people here who are very passionate about learning. The overall philosophy and motto of bestblackhatforum.com can be summed up by two phrases that are used often here: "sharing is caring" and "come as guests, stay as family". We are dedicated to helping each other succeed and we try to make this a place where even folks with very few resources can make a real start in business and in self development in general.
For starters, you may want to scan the rules at the top if the Udemy Section (the one you are posting in now). In answer to your question, yes you are posting in the right place. In my experience, deeply discounted coupons have been welcomed here, with numerous members posting that they have purchased, but you will notice a little "resistance" if you don't begin with a healthy round of free coupons to open a new thread (regardless if you are launching a brand new course or promoting one that has been on offer for awhile). A new thread that is (at least initially) offering a 100% OFF coupon should begin with [GET] in the title, but if you only wish to offer a deep discount on a given course, the thread title needs to begin with [DIS] in the title (the latter will naturally get much less traffic though).
You can clearly see the traffic numbers beside each thread, and with some courses it is quite substantial, so hanging out here a bit could be very good business move for you! I have noticed that instructors who engage members in conversation about their courses are more successful in generating higher traffic numbers and presumably more sales. This forum also carries substantial authority in the search engines, and you may have already noticed many of the threads rank highly.
One of the rules that we have been enforcing fairly strictly is that no "ripped" content is to be posted in the Udemy section - we want to foster a good relationship with Udemy instructors and support them as much as we can. Hopefully this rule adds to the "trust" factor you mentioned in your post. With that said, I suggest you test drive a few campaigns here and suggest to your fellow instructors to do the same, so that you can collect some meaningful data and evaluate for yourselves if it is worthwhile. Cheers and welcome to our forum!

Thanks for the good and polit explanation on this Whywork,
and also cheers to John for sharing and caring for BBHFers
About the price-elasticity you have to consider that our forum demand
is very elastic, so as mentioned before, a significant discount to a price
point of 3-5 bucks will centainly have more possitive effects here
as well as +reviews for the content of the course.
Warm regards,
~Juan Alejandro.-
