I have worked on contract off/on for Ogilvy Mathers (and Ogilvy Experiential}
I don't want a 9-5 corp job but I learned a lot with them. I worked on the AMEX Small Business Initiative/launch pretty much full time about ? 7 years ago
I was able to make many great local contacts and that helps me even now
(fyi...I was a team leader and then project manager for defunct Adefx in 99-03)
Telemarketing experience also helps. Real experience and skills and contacts cant be taught by these 20 yr old gurus yapping about arbitrage sell tee shirts and fiverr
If you are struggling offline u might consider a part time, contract j o b ..but never those fake user internships haha...hth
