Okay -- I'm long-winded but felt if someone other than you could use this advice, then it was worth the time it took me to type it all.

If you want to skip all the nitty-gritty details, there is a download link at the end of this post you can try to download Proshow 9 Gold.

What I have to offer is a tutorial on how to find more of the stuff you may be looking for without relying on the goodness of others to provide it.

I did a Google search using the keywords:

download proshow producer 9

Among the first-page results (with the first few links going to the official Photodex website, of course), I found these links ...

Websites with an .ir extension are in Iran. These links go to Persian download sites. I wrote a booklet about them to share here because you can find a tremendous amount of very premium softwares, graphics, movies, TV shows, antivirus programs, Android and other apps, etc. there. Everything is free to download as much as you want --- whenever you want.

Not everything will be the latest-greatest (newest) version, but many are close-to being so.

BUT --- there are some very important things you need to know (particularly if you are an American citizen). Iran does not have a copyright agreement in place with the US and blatantly allows downloads of premium, legally protected American products; primarily to its nationals. But if you know where to find these sites, you can download, too.

VIRUS CHECK! You will need to run your computer's anti-virus program (you do that anyway, right...?) and be sure it's running in real time. I use Malwarebytes Premium (paid) and let it run real-time to catch anything that isn't supposed to be lurking in the background, foreground or anywhere around that is dangerous or that I didn't ask for! My Avast! is also on at all times. You just can't be a serious black-hatter without protecting your computer. You should be fine downloading from Persian sites but be mindful to do a local scan or upload the file to VirusTotal to run it past 50+ anti-virus programs. Also, if you have an archived file, open it and see what's inside. You should run a local scan on anything and everything from patch and crack files to executable (program) files and more! You can't be too safe when it comes to the health of your computer.

Just be mindful that some anti-virus programs with strict settings will report false positives. You can research the name of the malicious agent reported to see if anyone online can confirm whether it is a viable threat or just an over-zealous A-V program; then you can use the exception option in your A-V program.

In my guide, on or around page 23, you will see most of the Persian download sites, in a chart, along with their passwords. This guide was written over 2 years ago so I am hoping that none of the passwords have changed over that time but ... give it a try.

Now, back to your Proshow Gold 9 request.

The links I show above are for version 9 that has been updated a few times. This could be the most recent version, but you will want to query Google to find out what version number is the most recently updated, IF you need to have the latest-greatest thing.

I highlighted the p30download site link because I am very familiar with that site. It is one of the sites I list in my guide. I am NOT familiar with soft98 and cannot vouch for their content, navigability or safety, for that matter.

So you might want to try to download this by using the site URL from the image above for p30download or by re-creating the search using my keywords ... then looking among the returned results for that link.

The sites I direct you to may be completely written in Farsi (the Persian language) but you don't need to speak or understand a Persian language to use them!

You can pretty much follow the graphic images to get around the site and get what you're trying to download.

Here are a few tips:

* Your browser may show a TRANSLATE button in the upper right corner when you reach the site. Click it. This temporarily translates the site's content to English so you can read and understand it.

* You can type in the search query what you're looking for in English. Your text will be displayed from right-to-left as you type (I'm still trying to get used to that!)

* You can pretty much "see" your way around by just looking at the images. Graphics of software and DVD covers, etc. should guide your decision on what to click. Click on the image or linked title (if there is one) and you will be taken to the download page.

* Green down-pointing arrows equal DOWNLOAD LINKS. On each download page, you get a description of the product and links to download it to your computer. Some files are in parts. Be sure to get all the parts (ex: Part 1, Part 2, etc.) or your download will not be complete and NONE of the parts will open. Also, you should be sure to download the correct version (when multiple versions are offered) for YOUR Operating System: either 32 bit, 64 bit PC or Mac.

You can also hover your mouse over the green arrow icons and look in the left bottom (system tray area) of your computer screen. You should see a text description of what you are about to download. You will see the file name, part (if it is one of multiple file parts) and the extension, such as .zip or .rar). Use this method if you cannot see the name of a link directly from the site.

* Your download will include everything you need. You will find either a patch or crack file with instructions (a text document) on how to use them. Everything you need to get your software installed and working should be included.

NOTE: It is best to create a folder on your desktop or an external hard drive if you have one and save the files there. Be sure to name it something similar to what you're putting there. Again, all file parts must reside in a single folder or none of the parts will operate!

And lastly...

* You will need a password. Each Persian download site has its own. And for that reason, I provide the link to download my guide above. I'm not sure if this site is on my list but you can look and find out.

But here's a clue --- most of these sites use a version of their own web name as the password. So, if the Persian site is abc dot ir then the password could very well be, abc dot ir or www dot abc dot ir.

Now, if you're squeamish about visiting sites you're unfamiliar with or those from foreign (depending on where in the world you are) countries, you can download Proshow Gold from a site like ccnet and do a Google search for registration keys.

But good luck with that! I've heard that ccnet and other download sites like to add unwanted files to your download. Unless you're very careful to un-check a pop-up box or decline an offer, you'll get more than you bargained for!

You'd do much better to download the official trial download from the Photodex website!

Then search Google for: proshow producer 9 registration keys and be patient. You'll need to try one after another to see which one (if any) works. But don't be surprised if it works for a few weeks or months and then ... BAM! right out of the blue, it stops working!

Only after writing all this, I managed to find a link you can try:

1. Go to the site at the URL above.

2. Search the list of softwares alphabetically until you see Proshow and click that link to get the download. It is version 9. I don't know how recently updated it is; you can compare the version numbers by visiting the Photodex website. If you simply want version 9, this should work.
