Sorry but I'm completely sure you won't obtain a high quality logo for $10, it could cost you a lot more than this because creating a logo is a process that goes from obtaining ideas, sketching them and finally bringing them to life and I think any real graphic designer is going to work for such a low price.

Well yes you can obtain a logo for $5 but you may not know but these "original logos" are only a modified copy from a template and you can ensure a lot of people are using a logo very similar to yours and it's not healthy for a brand. A logo should be treated as a property because it is the face from your brand. If you still want to pay so cheap for a logo then go ahead but be aware of the consequences. A real logo creation can cost you $100+ because it's a complex process but you can be pretty sure that your logo will be completely original and will represent correctly your brand.

That's my advice, if your follow it or not is up to you, I've learned a lot about it and have developed myself into graphic design and in case you want a real logo then contact me.

Yep, I completely agree with Waves.

In fact you're not actually helping anyone by offering so little. This always ends up as a race to the bottom and guess what -
  • You'll be disappointed with the result
  • The 'designer' will feel used
  • Your offer of 'lets work together in the future' will be an empty one.
I've been designing full-time for 3 years now and to begin with I was eager to get any work, I even fell into the pro bono trap, but I soon learned that my skills are a valuable asset that not everyone can afford. I'm not trying to sound egotistical, but a custom logo can take many hours to construct with a lot of background research and dialog before I even pick up my pencil.

$100+ seems to be the going rate these days, but even then its still very cheap considering the amount of work involved.

Here's a $100 logo:

And here's one for $10.
