Quite honestly, gone though this course in 2014 and found it to be very informative, however, the course instructs the student to interact with ITEX which is still active, some of the concepts that are taught in the course are somewhat dated, but with some modifications, this form of barter can still work.

I was a member of ITEX for over a year, and found ITEX Directors difficult to work with, trying to use the ideas presented from the course. A referral is given to work with a ITEX broker who understand the course concepts, is no longer with ITEX.

In addition to the monthly membership fee, ITEX directors go out and put deals together on your behalf take a sizeable commission.

You must be able to offer some value to the barter exchange members, such as an ongoing business that offers products and services geared toward other business.

Unfortunately, Web design, logo creation, SEO Services, Social Media Management etc. is saturated now, and do not command a lot of attention on the exchange.

If you are currently running a physical business and have a product geared toward the B to B community, barter works well.
