emailers vs "gurus"?
curious.... whats the difference (if any) between the type of emails "guru" guys send or info product marketers...
vs. the type that "mailers" are sending... would the usual swipes etc. that you'd get being an affiliate of an info product work for the more "mass" email type stuff? curious to know if there's a difference or not? |

RE: emailers vs "gurus"?
To me mailers are the ones filling up my spam box. The pros or gurus are the ones reaching my inbox. ;)

If you focus on spamming the crap out of people sending millions of emails per day, you'll never see any significant return, if any at all. How do professional emailers work? They build relationships, they earn a reputation, they offer value to their subscribers, and you can do this too, even if you're blackhat mailing them. You have to focus on quality and not on quantity. A proper mailing set up, targeted leads and a smart sending strategy can change your life for the good forever. ;) |

Make sure you have quality and targeted leads. 2. Make sure you have a working mailing platform. 3. Send a welcome email and offer them the option to unsubscribe so you weed out people who don't want to be emailed by you right away. 4. Email them free content and valuable information for at least a couple of weeks before selling them anything. 5. Once you establish some trust, then you can start combining emails with free information and your offers. This is what the pros do, and there's no reason you shouldn't do the same, even if you're in blackhat email marketing. :) |
