I'll guide you to get the hosting with your own domain name:

In the first steps, you will see 3 choices :

1- I want X3 Host to register a new domain for me.
2- I want to transfer my domain to X3 Host
3- I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain.


You need to choose number 3 if you want to purchase only hosting

Correct me if I am wrong, but does my post not make it clear I did EXACTLY that, chose 3, and my problem was that the domains I entered after choosing 3, were not accepted. (After clicking on 3 a bar appears below it asking for a domain name). I used both .us and .info domains. I do not want to use a .com or .org.

My post was asking for advice on how to get past the non-acceptable domains in order to purchase hosting - the reply was not only unhelpful but obviously my post was not read or understood.

I know you must be busy but with the large support staff you say you have, reading a post or support ticket and understanding it is the essence of good support.

In short, I want to use a .us domain to purchase your hosting - where is the problem in that?

Please don't post any bad word, if you have a problem this is absolutely from your side,, you can open a ticket to our support staff and they will help you !

You need to check your internet connection or your whole network but i'm sure this is not a problem from our servers.......

I have egg on my face (an English expression to say I have made a fool of myself).

I moaned and complained I could not get a .us domain accepted and only now realised I there were two boxes, one for the domain name and the other for the extension (see above). I was entering the full domain, including the extension in the first box.

OK! OK! I deserve any comments about needing new eye glasses and I offer my sincere apologies for wasting the OP's time.

I have now 'effortlessly' bagged this very reasonably priced hosting and promise to be a good boy in the future
