Windows HEVC $0.99 Workaround Alternative Software
Windows is now trying to charge $0.99 for some software to view MP4 files that are encoded with HEVC. If you get the alerts, here's a legit legal way to download and install the codec without paying.
SOURCE You need to login in the Microsoft Store, that is all. Paste this in your browser without HTTP or HTTPS and click on install:

Nice Tip, but HEVC plays on my 3mth old LENOVO Core i5 Windows 11 Laptop... on VLC PLayer, I think VLC has Codec built in for HEVC aNd 10bit x264
