What my domain and URL should be?
Hello everyone,
I have a questions for you, I hope someone will be able to help me out a little bit. If my domain name is for example: localdentist.com and my main keywords in order are : dallas dentist dallas dental emergency dallas dental clinic dallas dental center What do you think I should put as my URL? Should my URL be: localdentist.com/dallas or localdentist.com/dallas-dentist or localdentist.com/dallas-dental-emergency-clinic ? I don't want to miss my URL because once I build link on it, it's a pain to change it imo. Or should I get another domain like this for example : medsource.com . and put my URL like this instead : medsource.com/dallas-dentist Should I create only one page for all those keywords or one page for dentist and another one for dental clinic ? Thank You guys |

RE:
Hey RoyalShady,
If this was 2009 I would tell you to pay attention on the questions you asked. Due to the spam and abuse of keyword stuffed domains, it doesn't make a great difference. A small tip, try not to overthink it as it can lead you to buying multiple useless domains in order to "secure" them from competitors. What still makes a difference though is your title, meta-description and content. So you should pay attention on those. Final verdict: It would help a bit if you had the keywords you want to rank for in your domain but again dont expect it to be a huge boost. Also the name of directories have even less value SEO wise because they can be easily abused and have been in the past. |
