[WTF] Email Lists all being hacked
I use different email addresess on my own domain for every list I join.
Occasionally someone shares the address or they get hacked and I just blackhole the address. Lately I have been receiving numerous "test" emails from a whole bunch of different marketers, so it got me wondering WTF is going on? Has some common email platform been hacked I have around 40 addresses blackholed over the last 10 years, 12 of which in the last 24 hours! |

There are a few people who hack platforms and other people's lists. One of them sells those lists on this forum.
So, it is entirely possible that a loophole has been found and you're getting the brunt of it with your addresses at the moment. |
