It is also a good idea to have a test site, ideally on a server without any other of your domains, that has all of the scanner and security plugs running so you can test these babies out.

When uploading a theme I used a couple of plugins to help detect malware. Stated it was good to go. I then went here: http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-en...lyzer.html

Just type in the URL of your website and see what outbound links you get. I had a huge load of crap on one theme I used that was on a torrent site. I even went to get help to remove the malware, no use. This little checker will show you what links are not suppose to be there.

me too, so virus and malware attact in php source, my hosting warning about this continuous and banned my account because they are afraid of affecting to their systems
