I wouldn't call 12 links great, there are others with hundreds and even thousands

RE:
All the links so far are laden with affiliate links. Site admin claims to be run by Mammoth Interactive - one of Udemy Instructors which is synonym with the "Learn xxxx in one hour......" courses. I think instructor does not know about this site.

Wow, didn't expect it to go out of business that fast!
[/quote]since it was stated by those who saw the site live, that it mentioned it was 'mammoth interactive' and yet had aff links (which mammoth wouldn't need), then its possible they WERE NOT mammoth and mammoth shut them down immediately on copywrite/false identity issues.

Only thing I can think of that would kill something that fast. GoDaddy wouldn't want a lawsuit, nya. Angry

update for the curious- I did an analysis. was launched live just yesterday, no seo yet (no socials or backlinks) all html5 coded and 3W found 7 errors and gave 2 warnings. and them or godaddy has prohibited any changes- no updates, transfers, or renewals allowed. nothing to see here folks! time to move on. Cool

Actually, I think if an affiliate code is used, half the money goes to the affiliate. If no affiliate is used all the money goes to the author. So if the author uses an affiliate code, it will cancel out cookies by other users. I've seen affiliate codes used on the actual udemy course page with a discount code included.

I'm sure udemy takes their share somewhere, but I think an author can use a coupon code to remove any other affiliate cookies that would otherwise reduce their profits.

Not to say whether this site was or was not by whoever.

RE:
Udemy takes 50% if traffic comes from them, if the author brings his/her own traffic, the author gets 100%. Not really a bad deal for using both ways.
