Now it's "$500 a day"

Here's a tip for all the noobs interested in IM (internet marketing) - If something makes a claim to make ANY specified amount of money, high or low (but especially beyond reason), don't get your hopes up. It's just an eye catching marketing ploy. since I like to rant, here's a few more tips-

1. the big money in IM is marketing to people who want to do IM. Any idea will do, just so they can sell it.
2. suckers want big money and fast, so that's used for a campaign. (as mentioned above)
3. a cute marketing trick is to use a specific amount, like $5292.37 or $761.00 - it is said to give the illusion of 'real' because its so specific.
4. proof of income- obviously it can be faked, but even if real, they aren't telling you how long it took to get those results or how consistent the results are. Nobody will ever say "I MAKE $500 A DAY, EVERY DAY. ALL MONTH LONG"
5. TO ADD TO #4- maybe, MAYBE you can get lucky draw and make $500 in a day. ONCE. after several months. but don't hold your breath thinking its going to keep happening.
6. "Its only a few hours a day"- only after long hard work getting routine, being consistent, and lots and lots trail and error.
7. some actually work, but find the real is like a needle in a haystack.

To be honest ANY idea has the possibility of working.but the real trick is- YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR OWN SPIN ON IT. GO BEYOND THE INSTRUCTOR'S LESSONS. You have to think logically about the teacher (WSO, UDEMY, ETC). They are not going to jeopardize THEIR own income (if they actually DO what they claim) by creating hundreds of competitors in their field without at least holding back truly key secrets. You have to figure what they are NOT telling you.

And finally the most important of tips. research your instructor's (coach mentor, etc) name. Find out what else out there he's teaching. Point being, if they are teaching a dozen different ways to make $$$$ a day as IM, and they all 'work',well then you should see their picture in Forbe's magazine because the must be making millions a month, eh?

well, that's my spiral. Many of you already know this, some are in denial because they want to chase that penny and some of you hadn't really thought of it that way. This was for the lader. Peace...

note his other course which are technical like SQL. these sell better in udemy.

agree totally. but IM is really not that easy. maybe one thing many are not providing you with actual how to do it. secret is in the list. from my experience, people who do sell stuffs are really those with 100k+ list. some might say, but no one really show you a working step by step. it is still up to you to figure it out. but if one does figure it out, you will get a huge sense of satisfaction :)

I am ashamed. Your right. I judged a book by its cover. I didn't look over the course first. This isn't a 'get rich quick' course that I wrongly judged it to be.

Its a short course (38 minutes) about how to tweak (tips and tricks) to make your own Udemy course viable and widely appealing to potential students. Ironically, the title tactic is one of those tricks, I bet.

I have to embarrass myself now and say THIS course is something to get. It doesn't waste your time telling you how to sign in, how to create a course, etc. Its all about helpful tweaks to the course your going to create, in order for it to make money. The instructor has 6 courses, so one can assume he practices what he preaches.

My post earlier holds true for alot of things, but not this one. I am ashamed. foot in mouth, egg on face, etc, etc.

I purposely not posting any review notes (I did watch it), because if you already planning on making a course, you should really watch this yourself. Will it make $500 a day? $1,000 a month? Who cares! A good Udemy course will make some kind of revenue and this course helps define the appearance of 'good'. then the course sits there to make money forever, all you have to do is respond to student comments. And those students have paid you, so it must have made money, eh? duh...

i wish all courses had unbiased reviews with them.

i wouldnt rely 100% on udemy course reviews on their site, because i dont think they would be 100 % reliable,

and apart from that very very few people put reviews anyway, but i always look at the course reviews - if it has any, to see what others think, to save my time on taking a "less than average" course.
but nearly all udemy reviews are 5 star - so im under the impression people who intend to leave bad reviews just dont do a review.

I have left a couple of review. Both good and bad. I have seen quite a few courses of the last few weeks and frankly if it's presented poorly or the content is weak I will leave a review about it, because eventually you will have to give the students a hint if the course is worth your money and time. I feel there are a couple of course out now on every topic and if none have reviews (or all have 5*) it's really difficult to decide with one to buy.

i think thats why they give them away for free - so they can get reviews.

one specifically said "please leave a review because udemy will rank me higher in their search algorithym"
(and a better conversation rate - trust factor etc)
