Trying to find a WP member plugin to get this specific functionality / behavior
Hi All,
The last WP plug that claimed to offer a solution but really does not was Paid Memberships Pro.... so this is the detailed description I sent them of what I am looking for. I understand there are several SAAS solutions, my client insists on Wordpress. I thought this would be pretty basic stuff, but have had a hard time finding any that actually are capable of doing this. Please chime in if you know of a known working solution. I need to offer a monthly membership and a yearly membership (or one membership with two pricing options) where both have the option to purchase addons/upsells but at custom %discount price for the Yearly membership only. Assume the customer is a first time visitor, non-member, that will leave and never come back if they get confused or have to create and account to be eligible to enroll. I need to offer the main course as a recurring subscription at 2 price points, one monthly ($19), the other yearly ($190). Regardless which membership (or pricing option) is chosen, the next step will offer the same 2 addons/upsells. The guest selecting a monthly subscription will be offered the 2 addons/upsells at the addon's regular price. The guest selecting a yearly subscription will be offered the 2 addon LEVELS at regular price – 20%. Guests can choose 1 or both addons/upsells, or neither. Once that selection is made the guest is presented a itemized list of what they are about to pay for and the total amount they will be charged based on their selections and presented a checkout now button. Ideally this would be a single page checkout, at least mostly, that should go without saying. When the guest clicks the checkout button at the bottom, billing and payment info is presented and collected. Should the money transaction succeed, the account is created, it’s details and credentials emailed the NEW MEMBER. So far I've run into programming limitations when It comes to being able to do this all in one visit, one step, not requiring first a "free" membership or requiring being logged in order to be allowed to purchase a paid membership, or in some cases allowed to view the addons due to lack of membership level. Thanks for your help in advance, -singerjon
