Some, not many, of the older ones are still worth a look. I learned a lot from some of the systems from the 1970's that were given to me. Many on the market today are rubbish, a few are over complicated; most are just pure rip-off's.

That said I like to keep an open mind as occassionally there is a little tidbit that can be adapted and used to improve my current systems. A necessity as racing is constantly changing and those gold darn bookies are always manipulating the value out the odds. So it's important to find the cliched 'edge' to make a profit.

So...philoakey, any systems you care to share will be greatley appreciated and repped to the max. (Though my max reps stand at a lowley +3).


I totally agree with that. You have to read a lot and with time, you eventually discover a small idea that you can implement with another system you read before.

But I believe that one of the best system is the one you create after a lot of testing.
