Note:How to use myself:
1,just copy(RegInfo.ini) and paste to camtasia8 Directory and over right it.
2,add host file entries(hosts File Entries.txt) to host file.
3,no need enter any key.
4,just run the software5,check the help file.



How to open hostfile:
click start button->accessries->right click notepad file and open as admininstrator->open hostfile->paste the host entry->then save.

This is not a truly portable version of Camtasia. Would like to see a portable version that all you have to click is 1 file to launch without doing so much modifications.

Distributed portable version does not work. "Thinapp" always fails to launch it.



I was able to install Camtasia v8 in a clean VMware virtual machine install of Windows XP. It launched correctly, as expected.

However ... when I made the "thinapp" wrapper and exported it to the native host environment, it would not launch.

So something is not properly working.

Please do not say "follow the directions" -- because I did.
