[Suggestions Needed] FB page with 390k fans
Hi guys,
I have this 3+ year old FB page that have been neglected for a while now that I've been wanting to revive. The top 5 countries where fans came from are US, UK, India, Australia and Canada respectively and 331506 of the total likes uses English as their primary language so the page has some kind of potential. Now, does any of you guys know how to effectively revive this page without losing fans by the hour? I currently post twice a day but I'm losing an average of 50 likes per day since I've started doing so. Here's a link to my page for you guys to check out: Magic Button : I'm really looking forward to all the helpful tips and suggestions that you guys would be willing to share on this thread. Cheers! |

RE:
with list building, the more you message your list, the higher the opt out rate. if you plan on reviving it, then i suggest you start promoting it again so you get more likes than the likes that drop off.
i don't even see any monitization on your page either. you just want a page people like and that's it? also, are you doing all your posting manually? you know there are programs that will autopost for you, right? you can set yourself up for a year with a couple days work. then you can focus on manually monitizing it through cpa. this is a general niche(humor) so either cpa or books(through amazon affiliate network) should work well. if you can monitize it a little, you may lose fans, but the money you make can be put in to facebook ads to get more likes pretty easily You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone that can never repay you

How do I monetize it in a way that the return is greater than the value of those fans who unliked my page?

You could also build your list. You could also use CPA methods to monetize your page. “Never let your ads write checks that your website can’t cash.” - Avinash Kaushik
