Strange ranking algorithm of Youtube?
Hi,
Today I tried to analyze some youtube videos and I was confused by it's ranking algorithm. I typed key word "fb masterclass" which is a product launch recently and here's the two videos promoting it of the same owner: 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ipz_BRvSyM <- this video is ranked 2nd and it has only nearly 50 views, no likes, no backlinks(I checked on ahrefs), no social signal 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH8y5RNBbJs <- this video is ranked 13th and it has nearly 800 views, 19 likes, some backlinks and social signals. Even the description is the same?How can video 1 ranked higher than video 2??? I'm very appreciated if anyone share idea. |
