Something between wordpress.org and wordpress.com

Hi guys, i have an idea and would like to hear from you on how to go about doing it and would it be a good idea to proceed ?

I thought why not build a site something in between wordpress.com and wordpress.org

By saying that i mean a site that offers free wordpress hosting. You can install all the plugins(that don't slow down or destroy) all the other sites.So i would buy a main domain for something like 2-3 years and everyone who wants an account gets a free subdomain(excluding some special ones like the ones with a name something http://www.admin.my site.com. They can use their site for legit purpose that is no adult stuff and no DOWNLOAD.Also there would be no ads and no restrictions i.e no limit for space or bandwidth.The only restriction would be no ftp. I could start earning money when the users optin for domain mapping and those extra stuff exactly like in wordpress.com so slowly i'll also start earning money.

As of now i have a business account in hostgator(approx still 6 months left for it to expire) so i have unlimited bandwidth and space so i think i only need to buy a domain and maybe a better hosting in the future(when the site grows). I could also give some extra benefits like no frills setup just select what subdomain you want fill in some personal details verify your account and your wordpress site is automatically installed and configured for you. I could also give them 3 email accounts for their subdomain, start a seperate forum and add many other interesting stuff.

I think my service will stand out because i offer lots of stuff for free which others give you for 100-150 dollars a year.

Will love to hear back from you guys. This is still a thought so please don't steal it
