Site Security Checker - No Longer Functioning
For several years now the Site Security Checker (scanner.is-best.net) was a quick way to access downloads from WordPress sites but alas, as of yesterday when I tried to access the site to check one of my old standby sites for new info/downloads, I was hit with "Your connection is not private - Attackers might be trying to steal your information from scanner.is-best.net (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards)." When I tried to search further I got the DNS error. I searched to see if there was a "same as" or similar site but nothing shows up in my searches. I never figured out how to use it to check for vulnerabilities in cloudfront.net sites but the WP site vulnerabilities were useful. The end of an era!
