Sell a product with no refund option?
I sell online training videos, currently offer a 30 day refund policy. I am convinced that the refund policy invites people to signup just so they can watch the videos (probably rip them too) and then ask for a refund.
Has anyone had any experience with offering a product or service with a refund policy where they guarantee that the customer gets the product/service, but doesn't get to just say they don't like it and get their money back? I'm considering changing my refund policy to something similar to what I just described. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with selling products with this type of refund policy. |

RE: Sell a product with no refund option?
Hi, I've seen it plenty of time, where an offering is made with guarantee of delivery according to specific terms, but no refund offered. When I've seen it, there is a clearly specified policy and explanation of WHY there are no refunds. If you can make this part seem reasonable, and clear, I think you should not have many problems.
Maybe others can give more specific examples. This is just based on my experience over time, and I can't recall the specific products or sites, but for SURE some offer assurances, perhaps guarantees, but no refunds. If you're up-front and clear with your prospects, and follow through with your clients/customers, you can thrive! Cheers! |
