Some good suggestions already.
A few more for your watch list: - The Equalizer - John Wick - The Man from Nowhere (Korean but well worth watching) - Ip Man (Great if you like martial arts. The early life of Bruce Lee's teacher) - Jack Reacher (decent if you're not expecting the book) - Kingsman (James Bond meets Tarantino meets 300) - Man on Fire - Salt - Wanted - The Transporter (original is best of the three) - Leon (older but great) - Heat (older but great - not to be confused with "The Heat") - Wh_ite House Down / Olympus Has Fallen (Die Hard lite, okay if you just want some guns and explosions) - Con Air - Face Off - Swordfish First three are all variations of a theme - dumbasses mess with the wrong guy, asses duly kicked. |
