As to your question, I have a lifetime membership (a very affordable one-time cost) to that particular site; as well as to a few similar sites.

I highly recommend these types of sites because (not always but usually) as soon as a guru's newest launch goes public, it isn't very long before you will find the files for that product there.

I want to thank you for your kind comment about my willingness to help others on BBHF but I am also very up-front with my opinion about OTHER PEOPLE here pulling their weight, as well.

I always try to encourage those who never or rarely share to start doing so. And in return, I always get elaborately drawn-out excuses, like these:

- low bandwidth so they can't upload
- third-world country
- don't know how to share
- don't know English well enough to post
- on someone else's computer
- yada yada yada...

All of which I call bullshit on, because none of that gets in their way for downloading massive course files they post for or bump other people's requests for.

Besides, there are free file share sites --- like Library Genesis --- you can go to for sharing existing links. There are no files to upload --- just write a brief intro forum post then copy and paste the already-hosted link.

I do it all the time.

Another peeve I have is this: There is a lot to be learned from this community but most newbies seem to come here to grab and go. It seems nobody reads anymore. They dive headlong for those download links, wherever on the thread they may be.

But if they would read, they would know where to find files. Or how to search Google for links. Or any of the other things black-hatters know.

The many "how to find stuff" posts I've made get plenty of Views and I have private messaged with some folks here about sharing. But months later, I see the same usernames and they still haven't contributed. Their REP number says it all.

So c'mon now...look over some of the goodies you may have downloaded from other people's posts a while back. It's very likely those original post links are gone by now. It would be nice of you to occasionally upload something when the OP links have died so more people can enjoy the files.

And if you "don't know" how to share, that's no longer an excuse either.

A few years ago, I was asked that very question several times before I decided to sit down and document the steps I take. I've written a few of these with updates along the way. The one shared below is an update from the 2022 version. So, whenever I create a post to share something, I use some variation of these steps to this very day.

Yep, it's more than 30 pages (hahaaa!) because I actually ENJOY creating.

Plus, I wanted to have illustrations in the guide.

And I like making pretty posts.

I don't suspect most people would care to do as much as I do when they don't have to.

So there. I've just obliterated any more excuses. Anyone on BBHF who doesn't share, after having these instructions, simply chooses not to.

A BH forum is only as vibrant as its contributing members. It soon becomes a burden upon the usual "go-to" members to keep providing when the masses are only along for the ride. Those who lurk in the background clicking download links are like leeches --- they drain from (not add to) the life of the community because they give nothing back.

I may not be around BBHF the day when people will be made to contribute almost as often as they can download or post for requested files only after their reputation number demonstrates their worth as a valued member ... but I am very hopeful for that in the not-too-distant future.

And I'd like to have a hand to help in making it happen. This guide is one example of that.

Oh, Layna61524 QUEEN of BBHF, you are sadly underappreciated in how much you do on here. I like many others on here will willing share, sadly of late not as often as I would like but when I can and find something worth sharing I will. sadly, there are far too many, request and run members on here, we have recently seen an increase in SPAM Warriors in the request section. the mentality of some is "Let's BUMP everything on the request section, to build up our credibility. I know I can quite often be seen bumping one or two threads in the request section, but six, eight, even ten or more at a time, without a share to their name.

However, rant over, I have downloaded your guide, because even an old, seasoned pro like me is willing to learn new tricks.

Layna, as usual you are elegant and well spoken. You have summed things up perfectly. I believe I mentioned to you once that I had requested to Omni Potens that new members not be allowed to REQ anything intil they had a minimum amount of Reps. Sadly, no reply.
@GalaxyQuest, I couldn't agree more with everything you've said here. Layna is clearly under appreciated (as are you) and the "request and run members" as you call them are running amok.
Anyway, thanks again to both of you for all you do. Repped, of course.

I'm not concerned with people who share (even every once in a while). It's the ones who give nothing but are first in line (with napkin, fork and plate) to GET that irk the sh*t out of me.

And here's a thought that may not be seen as very nice but could cut down on those ever-growing "REQ and RUN" posters:

Ignore leeching requests.

Again, not so nice but it's also not nice to come into a community you clearly don't BELONG to and post for requests like you've ever done something good for the rest of us.

The forum owners (for whatever reason) are looking the other way regarding this boorish behavior. There's little else we can do. So I suggest that when we see REQ threads filled with "zero" rep or very low rep members who have been lurking on this forum for ages...or from people who recently joined (months ago), just make like the words in that Dionne Warwick song: Walk on by.

I know that will take everything some of us contributing members can muster because we are so accustomed to helping when we can.

When they see that no one is taking them seriously until they begin to add value to our family, maybe that will shame them into contributing.

As I've said, it doesn't need to be an original share. There are lots of sites that offer already-hosted links to ebooks, courses, etc. Just write a nice opening comment and post that link. People will add +REPs because they appreciate the effort.
