This looks like a good way for them to promote their products!
Dont you need approval on those sites to promote?

If anyone is still interested in this product, here is a very good, un-biased review that should help you make your decision a little easier.

GREAT REVIEW ARTICLE

For me it clinched it, I am no longer interested.

12days saying once again, just my 2 cents worth!

Un-biased review?

Really? Did you read it? (or write it!)...

You mean the review you linked to with HUGE COLORED LETTERS, which criticises one product only to end with his own affiliate link to another product?
= which is Wealthy Affiliate, by the way.

You mean a review that has 2 main criticisms of this product, both of which are dumb, and repeated often (because he has only 2).

And anyone here who knows anything about Wealthy Affiliate will also know that any review site that says 'WA' is their prime recommendation, is a WA 'acolyte' doing what WA acolytes always do, in the way that WA tells them to -- review other products, criticise them, then link to us (WA)...

If I was cynical, I'd guess you are the owner of the blog you linked to and this is part of your link building exercise... if I was cynical.

Otherwise, you are just a bit uninformed and shouldn't be writing here advising people about much.

As for WP Affiliate Machine...

It's fine. It does the job it says it does. And if people are silly enough to use it cold, without editing and adding to the scraped posts, then more fool them. I mean, what do you expect from a plugin that tells you up front it scrapes the reviews from elsewhere?

Big surprise! It's duplicate content! Big surprise, 40 other sites are using it = 40 lazy affiliates (who'd have thought affiliates might be lazy?)

So, what do you do to get around that?

Here's an idea -- take a few minutes out of your day and rewrite the intro paragraph. Or maybe more. There you go, no more duplicate content -- but at least WP Affliate Machine has set you up with the basis of a review. That's why it's useful.

And the other 'con' mentioned in that review was that it 'sometimes takes days to get permission to promote the products as an affiliate'...

Ok man. If that and duplicate content are your 2 main (un-biased) criticisms. You need another part time job. Because, clearly, auto-scraping content and 'waiting' are too much work for you.

Dumb stuff.

So, my review?

WP Affiliate Machine does what it says on the label. No more no less. If you're lazy, it will get affiliate reviews for you and post them to your site. Great!

Get it (with the OTO so you're not limited). But make sure you rewrite some of the content! And if you have a few more minutes spare maybe change the image alts and meta data (maybe even swap the images out for others) and maybe even add a YT vid and a few sentences of your own. It's not a VA, it's just a scraper targeting affiliate reviews, that's all. But useful.

And, by the way, don't waste your time (and money) with Wealthy Affiliate!

Apparentyl Magma, I hit the "Bee in My Bonnet" button for you to present such an argumentative retort to a simple personal remark that I made!

And yes, you are being cynical. I am NOT the owner of the blog in question and NO I am not linking to anything other than the site I mentioned.

If you will re-read it I did say that it was "just my 2 cents worth!"

If you don't agree with what I said, fine. Thats your prerogative.

As far as duplicate content or waiting around for permission to promote something are concerned I could care less. I do very well, thank you with what I do for a living and I do it well.

I am not trying to start an argument because as I said, this is only my and no one elses' opinion.

A good day to you sir.

Bee in my bonnet? Ha! Maybe you're right about that, at least! I don't bad advice! (And there's plenty around here!)

But don't undersell your original post -- it wasn't a 'simple personal remark', it was 'advice'. It was advice not to buy one product, but instead to go visit an affiliate review...

And you took the time to add a BIG ORANGE LINK TO AN AFFILIATE REVIEW

And the affiliate review was poor. And was simply a vehicle to sell the reader on another affiliate product.

If you're going to give advice do so. But maybe next time base it on something other than a casual reference to some lazy affiliate who clearly doesn't know (or care) what he's writing about.

If it's not your site you should be charging the guy for your backlinks and recommendations!

BTW I didn't ask how well you did for a living. Interesting that you should raise that :)

RE: [REQ] WP Affiliate Machine
I don't know if anyone is still looking for this but I thought I'd add this to the "reviews".
I have bought a couple of the review site builders. The one thing they all have in common is the fact that it does take awhile to get approved as an affiliate.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, it takes time. I have waited for two months on some. Some I gave up on because the vendor simply doesn't care I guess about approval (it certainly seems that way) Some weeks, other months. Some not at all.

When I complained about it, and I did a lot, I was told that they couldn't guarantee approval by the vendors...

Then HOW THE FU_CK DO YOU SELL A PRODUCT FULLY KNOWING THAT PEOPLE WON'T GET APPROVED. Not saying any names...Ankur Shukla! (FU_CK YOU Ankur)

It is a good "format" to work from as an example, but seriously, the vendors DO NOT give you instant approval. I even bought the upgrade where you get new reviews every month. After much complaining about approvals, they started only giving me Clickbank offers 2-5 years old. I stopped it after the first month when I realized I couldn't get the approvals and the reviews were old.

His support even got mad at me after trying to get me to believe it was just me, he slipped up and said "he was tired of 'everybody' complaining about the product, and it wasn't his fault if the vendors don't approve.

That was one of the reasons I didn't give this to anyone.

Both review products I bought were from the same vendor...guess who?

I hope this helps someone out.
