I suggest researching the author and read the one-star amazon reviews, before you undertake his programs -
here's a sample from amazon, which sums it up quite well -

"Do your research before wasting money on this book. I am so bummed out that I bought it and started falling for it. I was diagnosed with low thyroid function and was looking for alternatives as I don’t want to be on medications. I started following his “protocol” but then I felt like something wasn’t right about his advice. I go to his website to learn about Anthony and then read his disclaimer. Seems like he washes his hands of any responsibility. Then I go to his supplement page where he has affiliated links to Amazon. His Instagram has success stories and when you go to the profiles, they are obviously fake. Did you know that if you stop taking your thyroid medication you can die? He suggests weaning off under a doctors watch but how many people are going to do that? Be careful... he also attributes all mystery illness to Epstein-Barr Virus. I’ve never had that nor has my family. He claims it will not show up in testing if you’ve had it for a long time... please!"

I mainly wanted the book for any recipes in there for Juicing, since their Ad Graphic showed a super green juice. (Besides the info on healthy eating, etc.)
I usually research any info I can in regards to health and juicing, etc.

I don't have thyroid issues (that I know about.)
Just wanted his views on healthy eating vs. diseases, etc.

To edgey - I have to say you missed the boat. I did Anthony's 28 day cleanse two years ago and continued with a modified version for the next year and a half. Then several liver rescue cleanses. My blood pressure dropped from around 180 (top number) to 113 - 116. My wife's cholesterol dropped 75 points! That's astounding with nothing but diet and supplements. I lost 60 lbs. The stabbing pains I was getting from hitting my head went away. My vision improved. My energy improved dramatically AND my thyroid levels are better. I also have low thyroid, but never started medication for it so I didn't have to wean myself off.

Regarding Anthony's disclaimer - you can't operate in the health field in the US without it. The FDA and FTC are down everyone's back who says anything about alternative health. Its just like having to put a disclaimer in the make money or financial niche - without it, you get shut down.

As for the Epstein-Barr virus, the CDC website says 90% of the world's population is or has been infected. I think Anthony is safe in saying most people have it.

When it come to affiliate links, give me a break - everybody on the internet does that! Don't you get a hundred emails a day full of affiliate links - or webpages full of them? Its standard. If Amazon gives a few cents (and its only a few cents per item) of referral commission, why not? Those affiliate marketers in the Internet Marketing niche get a ton more.

This is life-saving information. The liver cleanse from the Liver Rescue book is incredibly effective. It completely took away my wife's eczema and improved several conditions that the doctors could not help with. My wife and I have been doing Anthony's protocols for two years now and everything he says has been accurate.

What my wife has noticed is that only those people who have tried everything, are at their wits end and serious about getting better "get" what Anthony is saying and are willing to do it. If you're not at that point, that's OK, just don't discourage those for whom this information will change everything.
