RE: [REQ] Sqribble COMMERCIAL | World's #1 EASY TO USE and POWERFUL eBook Creator Studio
I agree with the major points raised here. Kudos to Mrgwaps and Layna. It was my experience that even when I complained about a poor performing GB seller, and we all know who this warrior is, nothing was done because this seller is a steady source of income, even though products weren’t being delivered and refunds weren’t given. In store credi was all that was offered.WTF?.
So ya, I’ve purchased stuff and can’t wait to share it here only to find, like others, that it can’t be shared because a GB is up. Just wanted to throw in my two cents. |

RE: [REQ] Sqribble COMMERCIAL | World's #1 EASY TO USE and POWERFUL eBook Creator Studio
It's unfortunate, is all I can say but for those of us who know how to find files, this is no skin off our nose. BBHF is only as good as it's contributing members. Remember that. And if they continue to piss us off to the point where many of us do not return, that's their loss. Then, let's see how long the GB sellers can keep them afloat.

RE: [REQ] Sqribble COMMERCIAL | World's #1 EASY TO USE and POWERFUL eBook Creator Studio
Hi Layna.
Thanks for bringing this thread back to view. I hadn't seen it but I have noticed similar comments on the forum recently. I totally agree with the sentiments shared here by you and the other contributors. I have bought many GB's on here - more than I care to recall. Many have been just not worth even the small amount we pay compared to the vendors/creators 'real' price. I would have been really pissed if I'd forked-out full price for some of the bilge. But then, some are really useful. It's a lottery, as all the sales pitches are full of wonderful claims. You pay up and take your chances. GB's do though, give us the price to save on full price by quite a bit. However, as you say, sharing is what this forum was all about - try for free... ...then, if the product isn't absolute mince, support the vendor. Also, importantly, we are not allowed to comment on the GB thread to warn others if the product isn't as described in the creator's sales page....and we know how often that happens nowadays! I don't like not being able to see BBHF members reviews before I buy and I hate not being able to give my own opinion, as a buyer, to save others from wasting their hard-earned cash. But, for sure, the free option these days is being strangled by the factory line of GB's. There's no time to share - and apparently, from the experiences of others on here, a share given freely will still be taken down. Of course, there is a place for GB's; but not at the expense of the core values of the forum. If people start to drift away, then there will be nobody to sell anything to. The members are the real assets here, not GB sellers. I believe that this is something that 'Big Tech' giants, Facebook and Twitter etc will start to learn shortly. They may be powerful as hell just now but that can all be taken away in the blink of an eye when people have had enough of them. We allow them to be powerful but we can also remove that power. Without users/members they have nothing at all. Let's not allow that to happen to this great forum too. Just my opinion. Cheers! |

RE: [REQ] Sqribble COMMERCIAL | World's #1 EASY TO USE and POWERFUL eBook Creator Studio
Yeah ... look, it may sound this way but I have absolutely NOTHING against Group Buys or the people who choose to do them. And you're right, solar33 --- Group Buys serve a very useful purpose. A lot of the shiny-new product launches are simply not immediately available without purchasing it and GBs allow us to "see the goods" at a fair and affordable price. So, we agree that GBs have value.
But they also have their place. More and more lately, on BBHF, it seems as if GBs are the featured attraction and sharing is an option instead of the other way around. If this is a Black-Hat site, we should primarily be able to freely share files among ourselves with GBs being an option. I'm noticing on several of the sites I belong to, it's the same trend --- more and more GBs versus straight-up sharing. I regularly visit the REQ threads to see if there's something I can help to find but also to see what others are sharing. And in my experience, not long after the original request post and the first series of "bump..." posts, it happens... Someone posts: "Maybe we can get a GB going for this!" And that's fine! But if they only knew that in a lot of cases, the course they want is right under their nose, they wouldn't be so eager to encourage a GB. And sadly, some of the very people who foster GB mentality are the same ones who begrudge someone a kind "thank you" post or rep points when they freely share of their knowledge or files. In the past, I've gotten my wings clipped for sharing with others how I search to find files. Now, truth be told, I do have lifetime memberships on several paid sites with access to updated courses and products. But I also do a lot of file hunting on my own. And it's my opinion that when you know how to look for what you want, you won't need to rely on GBs. I'm just pushing for people to be more self-reliant. That's all! And not relying on GBs will help to restore this forum to its original purpose: that of sharing (not selling) downloads. Layna61524 |

I agree 100% with everything that is being said about GB'S.
They are in essence just like the movie, "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" The Good? It allows some people with limited funds to gain admission to something that M A Y help them acquire more funds. The Bad? Your're having to trust unseen the 'honesty' of the GB starter and hoping that they can and will deliver what they promise. The Ugly? Part of the bad but also, some of the products that are being hawked are just plain garbage and nothing else. The person that is selling the sizzle has absolutely no plans to provide you with any meat. If one were allowed to comment on these GB's directly, I am sure that quite a few would quickly fade into the sunset. B U T!!!!!!!!! As long as the owner/operator of BBHF is making money from the GB's, guess what? They ain't going away any time soon, at least not in my lifetime. Again, just my 2 cents worth. 12days |

I don't want to get shadow banned but it's just that simple, group buys have a legit purpose and provides the forum considerable profits, but at the expense of the innovative product acquirers and people who just genuinely share, is defeating the original purpose we gathered for in the beginning.
I'm sure if it was separated there would not be a significant hit to the bottom line. But it's to the point you can purchase and share something and it get's deleted because someone has organized a group buy with the delivery date set a month away, to me that stifles growth.
Check out my recent group buy thread here:
