Silo Structure:

Home Page -- Main lower competition Keyword
-- Main Related Topic Child Page Level 1 = lower competition Keyword
----- Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- Second Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- Third Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- etc.
-- 2nd Main Related Topic Child Page Level 1 = lower competition Keyword
----- Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- Second Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- Third Child Page Level 2 -- related lower competition keyword
----- etc.

It's just an outline of your site with similar subjects grouped togeher like shown.
Benefits users because they can easily navigate related content
Benefits SEO because you've got lots of low competition keyword pages that add up to decent traffic
Those give more power to your second level keywords that have higher competition
Eventually it lets you rank for your high competition keyword on the main page.

While we still hope for the Complete product pdfs from someone ... The link for the one pdf mentioned in post #9 didn't get me anything, but today I found the following working, which is the intended Dos+Don'ts pdf:
