[REQ] QUESTIONS ABOUT BBHF ON CHROME BROWSER
QUESTIONS ABOUT BBHF ON CHROME BROWSER Friday, June 23, 2023 Sorry about putting this query in the REQ section but I didn't know where else to post a general question (or questions, as the case may be). This morning (and again, just moments ago) I pulled up Best Black Hat Forum in my Chrome browser and the image above is what I saw. Scary, indeed. So that prompted me to ask you all these questions: Q: Is anybody else getting this result using Chrome to visit BBHF? I tried other sites and they come up just fine. I even wondered if BBHF was down for others (it isn't; as I managed to get here using another browser); yet this is what websitedown.info tells me: Q: Could my Chrome browser be infected? If so, is there some way (other than letting my AV program run a smart scan) to find out? Q: Should I ask a forum moderator if they are aware of this? Q: Could this be another hacking attempt? As I said, I managed to make it here (both earlier today and just moments ago) by using Microsoft Edge instead but --- this is very weird. I may decide to delete Chrome altogether, restart the computer and then re-install it anew to see if that helps. But in the meantime... What say YOU? =====
UPDATE ===== NOTE: I see some 35 souls have peered at this post but didn't bother saying whether they are experiencing the same thing. Never mind. I'll figure it out. ![]() for reading! Layna61524 |

RE: [REQ] QUESTIONS ABOUT BBHF ON CHROME BROWSER
It's because of Google Safebrowsing. This is relatively easy to fix.

RE: [REQ] QUESTIONS ABOUT BBHF ON CHROME BROWSER
Can't speak for Chrome but I occasionally got the same warnings for BBHF and Simplifieds WordPress Tool when using Edge. I switched over to Brave and so far there have been no warnings.
