@GalaxyQuest2: Thank you for the follow-up post. I just received a second, different email from Turnbull tonight and it says exactly what you just described; that the extras will be in the form of an email series.

The email I read last night mentioned BUNDLES and it sounded, to me, like something to be downloaded. Between the two emails, I got confused but I think it's all straighened out now. So thank you again for getting back to me.

To be honest, I am besieged by marketer's emails to the point where I do batch deletions without blinking an eye. Most of them abuse the privilege of contacting their list with too many promotions hyped as "never-before-seen, certainly not-to-be-missed" content when they're asking for more money. While I won't be on the lookout for those emails, should I recognize them, I will try to pull them together into a PDF, as a courtesy, to share with my forum friends --- but I make no promises.

As for turning your private messaging back on, try this:

Go to the User's Control Panel (click on the User CP link that is just to the immediate left of the link you click to Log Out of the forum.

Once inside of your Control Panel, select EDIT OPTIONS from the menu in the left column. That opens up the EDIT OPTIONS box in the center of the screen, showing you multiple choices (see my screenshot below).

Be sure that the 3rd option at the top of the box (ex: Receive private messages from other users) is ticked (which turns it on).

It looks like this...and I've placed the arrow at the position where you need to check the box (IF it isn't already checked).

Weird --- if you didn't make any changes recently, it shouldn't have blocked my attempt to reply but I'm glad you saw my message here. There are forum users here who routinely tick/untick that box if they need to be away a while, feel that someone is unfairly targeting them or they need to regroup. Problem is, one can easily forget to turn it back on so even if you send a message out to others, they will not be able to message you back. I can't tell you the number of people who send me requests to help with finding stuff and when I go to answer back, there's the "[username] has their PM turned off so your message cannot be sent" message.
