I am looking to start producing more adult coloring books, using unique Mandalas and kaleidoscope patterns.

I was looking for FREE software either download or on line that will help me achieve this goal, or additions to everyday graphic software.

What are you using and would recommend.

I am not doing mandala adult coloring books but I am happy to try and help with your request.

What would help me to better help you is to know what have you tried so far already to find what you want.

I say this because I have had people ask me to help them via PM and only after spending nearly an hour and sending back the fruits of my research, their response is: "Oh, I tried all that and it wasn't what I was looking for."

So knowing what you've done already would go a long way in helping me understand where to start while saving us both time and energy.

So, I did a few Google searches and came up with a L-O-T of possibilities.

Here is what I searched for:

- online mandala creator
- introhd.net mandala maker
- psdkeys.com mandala maker

The last 2 searches are to graphics download sites and specific keywords for what you are looking for. You can substitute those site names with others to get more results.

But since you mentioned software, it seems your preference is for a tool --- either online or desktop download --- that will allow you to make custom mandalas; or at the very least, edit or tweak them to your liking.

Then, there are "apps," which is usually just another way to say application or program. So if you're not getting results you want with online mandala creator, change it up with either mandala software or app and see what comes up.

I also found articles and blog posts to suggest the "best" mandala makers. Here is one for Windows systems...

Since most of these sites feature premium download links that not everybody can use, I grabbed 5 mandala maker files, converted the links and uploaded them to Mediafire for anyone who wants them.

The files are all from PSDKeys.com (if you want to go back there and search for the file by name to read more about it) and they include:

The README.txt files to some of these include links to instructional video tutorials; so check those text files, too.

I even went to YouTube and did a search for mandala maker and found quite a number of interesting video tutorials.

Again, without knowing what you've done already to find mandala software and what, specifically you're looking for in terms of creating mandala adult coloring books, it can take a lot of time to go over everything you can do to find what you want.

For example, even knowing that you want to focus on mandalas, not all mandala creators will give you the output you want. Some, for example, will only create the traditional style mandala; others will shape them into various forms, like birds or other animals ... or like dragons, as in this example I just happened to find a zippyshare link for:

And here's a file I'm throwing in "just because" I found a zippyshare link for it! And also because it is so beautiful. Go to PSDKeys and search for Ultimate Pencil Brushes for Procreate to see how colorful and attractive the same graphic for this file looks. I can literally see products in the artsy journals, printables and other low-content niches one can use this file to create!

BUT, alas, you need to have Procreate to use it (and this makes me want to get it!).

Again thank you Layna61524, for your efforts to help me with my quest. I did a lot of searching for FREE software either download or on line, before posting this thread, and managed to find the majority of the links that you found, and some of the stuff you listed were new to me.

I also followed your suggestion about looking up threads by batman1101 and other forum members) I found some of the older stuff that is still live, and sadly some not, and have requested some of the not so old threads, for re-ups.
What I was after was recommendations of what others are using, and making money with.
