[REQ] Accidental Bookseller - Paul Coleman
This looks interesting. I was wondering if anyone has it? Or even just tell us what it's about? Thanks!

RE: [REQ] Accidental Bookseller - Paul Coleman
Folks, this isn't a good one. It's about 6 pages long, comes with two other equally useless PDF's that are 2-3 pages each (one purports to tell you how to clear 25 minutes a day to write, but the only tip is to take supplements to help you focus and to wake up earlier, and the other is related in that it encourages you to write as fast as possible without thinking).

The author he is talking about certainly has more than one book, as well as the marketing machines of all the american self-help guru's out there, so the premise of "Accidental Bestseller with one book out is incorrect." The book that is referred to in this product is Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It, by Kamal Ravikant. Google Kamal. He's everywhere. Does all sorts of speeches and videos/podcasts, etc.

What this product was attempting to do was to say that Ravikant's book got popular because it was raw and honest, with a catchy title. Kamal was giving speeches at Google while still feeling suicidal and he writes about this rawness in the "Love Yourself" book. I read that book six-nine months ago, because I heard about him on an Altucher podcast. Love Yourself is a 56 page book. It's not very good. And there are plenty of other raw, painful books out there that don't do well.

This book did well because he already had the connections (doing speeches at Google before he wrote the book) and was marketing it, but Accidental Bestseller creator doesn't seem to realize that.

That is really funny from the product creator to call a book from Kamal Ravikant an "accidental bookseller"!
Kamal is a very charistamtic well known and smart writer and marketer. Even Tony Robbins would be happy to help him to promote his book!

Amazing what some product creators would do to make a quick buck!

@scribeforthetribe

Thanks for the review. I know from experience that Coleman's stuff is usually a rip-off, but he does write a good sales letter. So glad to know the "secret" is the usual BS.
