Around 2-3k installs for android, with mix of keyword-installs. You should start noticing some rank, iOS is a different method and I am not sure the exact amount of installs needed to get your app rank into the app store...

It's always have something to do with viral value, like whether your app is installed by real users, there's also brand value... and also competition in the category...

Which is why we don't really give guarantee on ranking, we do deliver with real users, and real campaigns, and real installs, and that's all that matters, as long as no bot no virtual machine, and the install growth doesn't seem to be forced, and not many uninstalls afterward, I think you'll rank, that's pretty much everything any ASO guru will tell you..
