Awesome advice! My desk is by the window (sometimes I even bring the laptop on the picnic table outside). I'm easily distracted and know I should just get to it but sometimes wander in cyberspace.

I find your words motivational - especially knowing I'm not alone. Your mention of the Harley hit home. Only for me it's snowmobiling, and my plan is exactly as you said. I even got the helmet cam!

Very interesting thread. The distraction is my main problem. I am very happy for the fact i do not have Facebook accaunt, but i spend too much time on YouTube, watching too many games videos. Also the games distract me all the time. I have to fix it.

I like your post. You have good info and share a lot. Hopefully some will take it and think on it and get motivated. You moved somewhere new and didn't know anyone and lived on the streets but what about people who are losing their jobs and instantly ending up on the streets. I am a procrastinator and I have struggled with this all of my life but I am still making tracks to my goals as fast as I can and that is because I don't want to end up on the streets. Many think that they are safe but your not unless your a millionaire or got a 50 grand or more and even these people are finding themselves in trouble.

Get to it now. Stop downloading everything and over thinking things. For those that need money now, sell something and start offering services like article writing, setting up a blog, graphic design, etc. And if you don't know how to do something go and learn. The internet is a vast universe of free education and tools. You don't even have to have photoshop. You can get a free web based version. Blogs. Wordpress and blogger give them to you for free. Use it until you can afford your own.

Think and then take action. Nothing happens from reading alone and get some confidence about your abilities.

mindset is the hardest thing to overcome!! its hard to keep working 12+ hours a day when the project isn't pulling in cash yet.
