I got two packages today from AliExpress and I did not find any receipts and prices.

That's really good , Good luck for your business....

For a tax purpose, if you check your package label on price, it always lowers than the actual price, that helps to avoid duty tax. And, also they usually label the package as gift.

What about breaking any copyright laws or being sued by JK Rowling?

I do it on my own risk, however if you check Amazon, Ebay, Etsy and other marketplaces you will find a huge amount of such products. I am not sure if they all asked for permissions from Warner Bros. or JK Rowling...

RE: My AliExpress Dropshipping Journey
Hi Yaros, I really appreciate you sharing your journey with us here in the forum. I have been on this board for a while and have dabbled with various methods but while reading your story you have inspired me to get off my arse and take action, hopefully this time, see it through.

I have found a niche using your methods and created a shopify store and went straight into the facebook advertising, alas, after spending about 30 bucks have made no sales.

I'm going to begin a social bookmarking campaign as you suggested and see if I can get some traction that way. Your craiglist idea seems promising as well.

After bombing out on the facebook advertising I'm beginning to doubt myself if possibly my niche(jewelry niche) is not popular enough or it's just a case of keep trying different ad sets and images to get the right fit.

Only have 4 products at the moment, I thought that would be enough seeing as I was using FB to drive traffic. Just to test the waters but more testing may be required there.

Any suggestions to drive traffic(ones you haven't already mentioned) and hopefully get some sales would be greatly apprecaited.

Anyway would like to wish you all the best on reaching your goals, it's obvious that you know you stuff and have no doubt you'll get there.

Actually, it is not an easy trick for me to dermine the best marketing strategies for you without reviewing your site.

However, I would recommend social media promotion first of all, but not paid ads. You should post all your products on FB, Twitter, Pinterest. To post products and promote them on social media I have created another plugin (SocialRabbit) that I am testing now and very satisfied with results so far. This plugin not just posts products but also finds other niche-related groups, likes pages and posts, leaves comments and attracts customers. I can share this tool with you once it's completely ready.
