Morons Still Spamming Blogs

My blogs are still getting bombarded by Scrapebox...you'd think with all the press about Penguin, these idiots would learn something

For someone that does black hatting it should be pretty easy to figure out how to stop blog spam. If you're using something that's php based modify the code and put something in it that a captcha service can't solve it's not that hard.

I have a captcha in, plus I can bulk delete comments....doesn't bother me that much.....what bothers me are these people are ignorant......

People do it on the automatic pilot, they won't even notice it when you delete it or not.

you can even upload akismnet plugin for wordpress to delete spam posts. :)

Spam can be categorized as a crime, they annoying peoples. Spam is a half of scam.

I added Comment Luv and for some reason the spammers stopped.
Unless you are receiving a lot of legitimate comments, simply turn comments off.

I am not sure why you think people should no longer use back linking. It isn't mentioned in anything I have read. Pyramids with imbedded back links to money sites are being dinged and cookie stuffing has taken a hit but not regular back linking.

I always turn comments off, but then again, I've never built a site "for the visitors" even though Google really wants me to
