Mega download links are behaving strange
I have the problem, that, if i try to download something from mega upload (as a zip file) often the file is broken. I use the google chrome mega upload extension. How can that be? As far as i know The files on the mega download server are not in a zip-file, so mega download creates the zip-file which i then try to download for me, but as i said, they are often broken. When i try to open the zip-file some parts are missing…see the picture. …there are 7 folders…they exist, they are on megadownload, otherwise, how could megadownload show them to me? So they are there, but when i click on „download as a zip-file“ it can be that the zip-file contains not all 7 folders…a few may be missing…or a few files in the folders may be missing. When i try to download the same again, maybe now something else is missing now. So sometimes i need to download the same file 10x until everything is there. How could i solve the problem? Thanks

RE: Mega download links are behaving strange
Are you downloading direct, or are you importing to your mega account first, and then downloading? You may want to try importing first and see if that helps. Also, always use 7zip to unzip.

Also, also, d***, that's a lot of open tabs. How often do you clear your download history and cookies? If you download a lot you need to use CC cleaner, periodically to keep everything running smoothly. Or at least delete your browser history. That could be messing you up, as well.

An unrelated problem I used to have with megasync was, everything would download fine, but then when I went to cut/paste to my storage, the files would move, but they would also stay there. And when I would try to delete them, mega would say they weren't there anymore, even though I was looking right at the files. They weren't taking up any disk space because the files really weren't there, but I could not get the file folders to go away anyway, and they just kept piling up. It was super frustrating until I found the solution ...

... which was to highlight the folder, scroll up to 7zip, and click add to archive, and then tick the box which said, delete file after archiving. Then I'd get a new rar file, and the old file folder would disappear. And then I could delete the new rar. I don't understand why it worked, but it did.
