VMware Virtual Machine installed Mac OS X Mavericks (13A598). Before operating the machine necessarily apply (as administrator ) VMware Unlocker, contained in the hand.
To select the desired screen resolution , set it first in the virtual machine configuration , see Monitor (Display), and then in the settings most Mac OS X System Preferences - Display . Now set the resolution to 1600x900. The remaining parameters (the number of CPU cores , memory , etc. ) are also selected according to their equipment .

To start the machine processor must support virtualization ( If it is disabled , enable it in the BIOS)

Set the screen resolution
