RE: LibreOffice 7.1.2
The OP makes a very good point !!
Thanks Happydance Thanks

There is ZERO good reason for most folks to use payware like M$0 anymore.
It is expensive bloatware that dominates user's PCs.

BUT:

LO is still kind of funky, buggy and can even be quite crashy sometimes...speaking as a former daily user of it.

Other free competitors compatible with M$0 file formats are not bloated...and best of all, FREE !!

So:
A step up from it is Collabora Office - which came from it and is less buggy and crashy.
It is commercial - but the trial is free to use endlessly and has no nags or marks added.

2 HUGE steps up from LO is FreeOffice - which (IMO as a daily user of it) is just great.

I totally despise board spammers and spambots !!!

RE: LibreOffice 7.1.2
Thanks Many thanks for sharing moonhwanii and smithnowt bros! LibreOffice (better than OpenOffice), FreeOffice (Softmaker) and CollaboraOffice (new for me as a free option) are good free alternatives to MS Office! Also, LibreOffice was recommended at our community at 2012 by KonnectDirect bro, thanks too:
