Aesop, Thx a lot for introducing this grand prize of $10,000 Udemy courses to us!! Rep added!!!

I have more than 1,000 paid courses enrolled in free mode.....Most paid courses I got were shared by many great members in this FREE section!! (Really Million thx to them!!!)

So if we see in this way, $10,000 Udemy prize is not very attractive......Ha ha just my opinion.

The contest is open from May 15th to May 26th.

From what I understood, you can participate in the prize draw one of two ways,
1. Buy a course by spending at least $5 (well, the courses are discounted to at most $10, so I don't know how the magic number is 5 :-) to qualify for one of the 100 $250 prizes given out every day of the contest, in the form of course credits.

2. Alternately, if you want to get a free entry, you can enroll in the contest by entering your details at,

You need to do this every day for being eligible for the draw for that day.

Once you qualify on 5 or more days before the contest ends (using one of the above 2 methods), you are also eligible for the grand prize draw for $10,000 course credits.

To add:
Contest is open for select countries mentioned in the rules. For Canadian citizens, if they win, they also need to complete a mathematical skill test of some sort before being granted the prize. Why Canadian residents are targeted? I have no clue!

$250 credits are valid for 6 months and $10K for 4 years.

My observation: 10K prize winner would have to give affidavit, declaration, etc and would have tax consequences on the winnings!
