Is it Allowed To Post The Downloads Requiring Email Address Etc. First To Get The Download Later, Rating It As Free!

Hi.

Some members over here are very keen for reputation posting links claiming them to be having Free download in WSO,BSO... Freebies Section but some details such as name, email address etc. to be provided first via a form etc. to get the download.

Is this allowed because ideally then they don't remain free?

Thanks,

If it is a direct membership link that require you to use your email for membership access that is allowed if the sharer is no affiliate on what was been leak or shared.
A legit signup that requires you to pay to get membeship access and someone leak it then thats allowed.

But if the sharer own the site, or affiliate with it, then that is consider as "opt in" or "collecting email address", and that is strictly NOT allowed.

In any cases, you can always use disposable or temporary email if you fear you will be spam on your personal email.

Code:

https://temp-mail.org/en/

Also just use the "report button" so any mods can see it, if it violates then automatically it will be removed. Thanks.
